  • Begin weekly mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns– Now is a great time in Georgia to begin weekly lawn maintenance. If you are too busy, or do not want to devote your precious time off to yard work, let us do it for you!
  • Begin pruning shrubs– With the weather warming up, you will not mind pruning those shrubs that may have gotten a bit wily over the winter months.
  • Prune early spring flowering shrubs after blooming complete- In order to maintain control of your flowering shrubs, early pruning is key.
  • Inspect trees, shrubs and turf areas for insects and disease-This will allow you to treat them early, if necessary
  • Spring start up and maintenance of Irrigation systems. For more information on how we can help with this, visit our website.
  • Apply pre-emergent to turf and planting beds, which will help with summer weeds
  • Apply post-emergent to control weeds as necessary, which should help with pesky weeds emerging in the warmer months
  • Fertilize spring flowering bulbs after blooms fade; You will want to fertilize azaleas and camellias after blooming
  • Apply fertilizer to warm season turf-this will help it flourish in the hot and humid summer Georgia months
  • Begin seasonal color installation-Ideally around mid-April.
  • Install summer flowering bulbs for beautiful color in the summer!
  • Install perennials for low-maintenance flowers you will not have to plant every year!
